I can't believe that Kennedy starts school in a few weeks. Summer has flown by but it has been a lot of fun and we have kept really busy. I am almost done with all of the things on our summer bucket list. We visited a nearby splash park and had a lot of fun, I met some fun new moms and Kennedy got to see a lot of her friends from school.
We took a quick trip to Utah and visited family. My parents took us all to Lagoon. It has been a long time since I have gone, going with kids is definitely a lot more fun. The kids loved it! We stayed in the kid area most of the time. they had so much fun riding with their cousins.

We have been growing some things in our garden and it has been so fun to watch things pop up, the kids have really enjoyed it. We planted strawberries, basil, watermelon, zuchini and LOTS of tomatoes.
We already made some bruchetta with some of our basil, it was so yummy!

We were invited to a party at Windsor Lake, it was beautiful and the kids had to be dragged out of the water. It was a lot of fun!
I have really enjoyed reading with Ken this summer. We have gone through the books above and a few others, it's so fun to be able to read chapter books together.
These freaky birds returned this year and made a nest above our front door. The babies finally hatched and if you look at them they stare right back...super freaky!
And lastly at Windsor lake here is Jenna and Sophie.
