I love the fall and all the fun holidays, food, weather and smells that go with it. The kids and I went with our friends to a nearby farm where they go to play in corn, go on a train ride and pick out pumpkins. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. Kennedy even dressed up like a cowgirl for the occasion.
Mike had surgery at the end of September and has been hobbling around and healing since. He is doing great and seemed to have bounced back quicker than anticipated. His parents came out to help after surgery. We were thrilled to have visitors and help. Janice was an angel and did a ton of cleaning and cooking and helping with kids. I got to take lots of heavenly naps, it was wonderful!
(sorry these are out of order) After the farm we took the kids to get yogurt. We are so lucky to have great friends for us and our kids.
Here we have Sarah, Natalie and Benson carving pumpkins. We had friends over to carve and then have Navajo Tacos with us for dinner. It was a lot of fun!
Here are the kids on a trunk or treat night. Sophie is a pirate, Finn a skeleton and Ken a vampire.
