Thanksgiving

We spent this Thanksgiving at home in Colorado with just our little family.  As much as we missed seeing everyone in Utah, it was nice to not have to travel and to just relax at home with everyone.  Our dinner lasted about 20 minutes and took about as long to clean up. We decided to make food we love instead of the traditional turkey dinner so we had roast with carrots, mash potatoes, sweet potatoes with marshmallows and chocolate cake for dessert.  I took pictures of the kids that weekend for Christmas cards and then we decided not to do them this year but we ended up with some pretty cute pictures.  Miss Sophie at age 4.
Finn at 9, almost 10 months.  Such a handsome little devil!
I took the girls to Pinkalicious the play, based on the children's book.  It was pretty cute, the girls really loved it.  I am surprised how much they enjoy plays.  We are planning to go to A Christmas Carol and The Nutcracker in December.

The girls got some brand new coats and scarves for the winter. When Kennedy put her coat on this year it was up to her elbows, guess she has had a bit of a growth spurt.
Sophie watched a lot of movies over the break, she figured out a way to be as close as she could to the tv in our bedroom. We weren't thrilled when we saw what she did but we couldn't help but take a picture before we got mad.  After our dinner on Thanksgiving, Mike stayed home with Finn and watched football while the girls and I went to the movie "The Guardians". We really liked it.

 Kennedy at age 7.
Here are the kids in a much more accurate representation of what goes on around here.  We had a wonderful holiday and are so thankful for all that we have.
