My parents came out this past weekend for a visit and it was wonderful. It's so fun to have family around. My Dad, who is apparently obsessed with kites, brought kites for the girls. Sophie had never flown a kite before and she was enthralled. She let go a few times which was really the highlight of the whole experience. Watching my Dad, then my Mom chase a kite through the field...good times. Note that my Dad's kite is attached to a sponge bob fishing pole... this provided me with no end of giggles. I love my parents.
Seriously in awe.
We had a lot of fun with them for the short time they were here. The kids swam at their hotel, we flew kites, played games, looked through a few houses and ate some delicious food. My Dad also made some lovely jewelry with the girls and continued to play with the jewelry pop beads after the girls were done, wish I had taken pictures of his creations. I know what Grandpa will be getting for Christmas :)!

How fun-- ah man your family totally cracks me up! Lovin all the little boy things you posted--you have the best style.- your little guy is going to be the most stylin' little bug ever! (could I have maybe said "little" a little more?)
