Sophie's 3rd Bday

I can't believe my baby is three. Guess she's not really a baby anymore, Mike says that means it's time to have another. She was so cute about opening her presents and so excited about her cake. We decided to take her to Chucky Cheese and you would have thought it was Disneyland, she loved it.
We invited a family over from our ward for dinner and cake that night. It was a little intimidating since the wife of the family is an incredible chef, you can read more about her on her own blog here. She has been in magazines, on t.v. and works with Paula Dean regularly...so the pressure was on. Dinner was great and the company was a lot of fun too!
Sophie was so cute trying to blow out her candles, it took a while but man was she enthusiastic!

She got a big wheel, play food, a princess suitcase, movies and her Cinderella dress. She didn't take the dress off all day long. I caught her looking in the mirror and any other reflective surface bowing to herself and spinning in her dress, very sweet.

Our friends are out of town and their Mom is watching the kids, she seemed a little overwhelmed so we took the kids with us to Chucky Cheese. Mike spent the previous night at the hospital with their little boy until 4 a.m. They thought he might have his apendix but it turned out to just be bug.
The kids had a great time playing games and getting tickets.
Sophie loved the horse there and had a great time playing games with Dad.
Sophie is a crazy little girl. Just this morning after being in my room briefly I came out to the living room and found six eggs cracked and all over one of our side tables. She is into everything and she is fast. I wanted to list a few things she is doing right now so we can remember.
1. She finished speech therapy and has qualified for free preschool which she will start this week.
2. She is taking a ballet/tap class that is adorable. She is all over the place but is very enthusiastic and really loves it.
3. She is obsessed with the Disney Princesses and the color pink. She can name them all and is probably most in love with Cinderella.
