Double barf weekends

The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs.

We have had an interesting couple of weeks. Mike has been working a few hours out of town so last weekend I took the girls to visit him and Sophie threw up most of the weekend. Also, every time we tried to go do something as a family Mike would get called into the hospital. So, we did get to see Megamind and really liked it and although it was a rough weekend we were glad we went to see Daddy. This past weekend Mike had a conference in Colorado Springs so we all went along with him. I LOVE the springs. I think it is so beautiful there. Before we left I threw up but afterward I was feeling okay so we went anyway. The next day I threw up again but our friend Lacey saved me and took care of the kids while I barfed in our hotel. We had a nice brunch at the Broadmoor Hotel, above is a picture of the spread of food I couldn't believe all the choices they had. It was a bummer not to feel well because everything look sooooo good. I had fruit.

Sophie had mash potatoes, mash potatoes and then some more mash potatoes. Seriously can't believe we paid for the kids to eat at this brunch considering that they had mash potatoes and m & m's from the chocolate fountain.

The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful, the girls and I walked around the lake and visited the geese and ducks.
