Halloween

I am soooo glad Halloween is over. Don't get me wrong, I love Halloween but it seems to be a Holiday that drags on and on with little kids and frankly I am exhausted. On Saturday our family went to a ward party at one of the members farm. The farm was enormous and they had set up all kinds of fun activities. Once we arrived the girls immediately played on the hay bale tunnel, maze and climbing tower.
Mike met up with his friends and got some terrible hair and mustaches. They looked so funny and sexy, right?
Kennedy bounced from game to game. She won the potato sack race, I put Sophie in a potato sack and when all the other kids took off she just stood there and watched.
Here is Kennedy and her little buddy at the doughnut on a string game.
Sorry ladies, he's taken. What a looker!
I asked the girls to pose and Sophie just copied everything Kennedy did.
Seriously the cutest fairies I ever did see.
Melt my heart. I could watch them dance around and be silly in their costumes all day.
Sophie was in this picture but we cut her out because she had her eyes closed and looked a little scary. What a fun Halloween! Now if I can just get rid of the candy in our house so that the girls aren't asking if they can have some every 5 seconds!
Sunday we did a little trick or treating, we didn't last long because Sophie refused to let me hold her and she was SO SLOW. After she got a few candies in her pail she kept opening them up and eating them. Kennedy was about 5 houses ahead of us. When we got back from trick or treating Ken was so excited to pass out candy. After a couple of kids came to the door she gave them candy and then shut the door and turned to Mike to give her critique of their costumes, "cute kids, great costumes...he made a great football player"
I'm not sure if she realizes that she is also a "kid".
