While driving to Utah, before our trip to Disneyland, Mike and I discussed that taking Sophie was going to be a nightmare. She is at the age and level of craziness that the lines and long days would have been rough with her SO we decided to swap kids with my brother and take my niece and nephew Syd and Mckay and to leave Sophie with him. When we announced to Syd and Mckay that they were coming with us Kennedy was bouncing up and down and said "isn't it the bees knees?" We went with our friends Shane and Jenna and their two boys Bennett and Evan. We have traveled quite a bit with them and we always have a great time.

Our vacation was just shy of a week. We spent two days in Disneyland/California Adventure, one day at the beach and a day at the Discovery Science Center. When we arrived at our hotel, we were lounging by the pool and all of a sudden we felt woozy and a bunch of water comes splashing out of the pool...we were caught in the earthquake. Luckily this was not a sign of things to come and the rest of the trip went smoothly and was a lot of fun!

Kennedy climbing the rock wall in California Adventure and below Mike was...well, embarrassing!
