Misc.

The above picture is really random but I didn't want to forget about it. Sunday morning Mike got up with the kids and he let me sleep in.  When I got up the house was somewhat disastrous and I go into the kitchen and the girls are painting their socks...brand new socks.  Slightly confused I asked what in the world they were doing and they said that Dad said they could paint socks and make sock puppets, nice.  So after they painted them and added hair they put on a lovely puppet show.
Here are the girls at Texas Roadhouse for the Gymanstics Christmas Party.  We had a nice dinner and then went to the coaches home and had a gift exchange and some treats.
We love to have lunch with Kennedy at school, Sophie thinks it's the coolest.  Kennedy wanted to make sure everyone knew her pregnant mom was there. She kept patting my belly and saying "pregnant lady coming through."  What in the world?  It's fun to see how she interacts with the other kids...and sometimes horrifying.  When a slightly odd child eating across from us randomly said to me "I'm a kid", Kennedy looks at me strangely and says "okey dokey."   The best part was when we went to the elementary's Christmas store so she could pick out a gift for her Dad and she picked a necklace (because you know how Mike loves jewelry) with a large dog tag hanging from it that is pink and purple and says AWESOME.  I was trying to hide my giggling when she said, "Dad is gonna love this, you know...because he's awesome."
We are getting so excited for Christmas.  We have made a bunch of fun crafts including a gingerbread house, watched an endless amount of Christmas movies and read a ton of Christmas books.  Mike and I had a fun time at his work party.  It was fancy..which was somewhat stressful considering that I am huge pregnant but we somehow pulled something together.  There was delicious food and LOTS of drinking which is always a good time for the two sober individuals there.  Don't really love trying to make small talk with a bunch of tipsy docs luckily Mike stuck by my side most of the night...until karaoke started.  Mike performed a lovely rendition of Livin' on a Prayer ending in the worm.  I was laughing so hard I just about gave birth.
I had my 31 week appointment today and I am measuring just right.  Baby Finn is doing great!  I am keeping busy by packing up this house and preparing for Christmas.
