Bucket List

If you need ideas for things to do this summer here you go. We probably won't get to all of these but I like to have some ideas when we are feeling bored and need some help.

Bucket List

1. Convert and edit family videos from vhs to dvd.

2. Update digital scrapbooks for girls and family.

3. Bear Lake trip.

4. Family hikes.

5. Tie dye shirts with girls.

6. Help Kennedy sew something.

7. Family bike rides x20.

8. Library Storytime.

9. Swimming x20.

10. Cooking lessons for Kennedy.

  1. Have a library/park/ice cream day each week.
  2. Visit an art museum.
  3. Make homemade ice cream.
  4. Slip-n-slide, sidewalk chalk, jump rope and bubbles.
  5. Grill at least once a week.
  6. Eat tons of watermelon, berries, corn on the cob and popsicles.
  7. Have a game and movie day in our PJs.
  8. Go to the zoo & aquarium.
  9. Visit a pick your own fruit farm.
  10. Frequent the Farmer’s Market.
  11. Attend outdoor concerts.
  12. Find a drive in movie theater.
  13. Go to a county fair.
  14. Eat outside.
  15. Make homemade pickles
  16. Make jam
  17. Camping
  18. Service project
  19. Nature Walk
  20. Go Mini Golfing
  21. Visit a new park
  22. Do a science experiment

44. Make-over: hair, makeup and nails.

45. Paper and sticker pictures

46. Magazine collage of a certain color, food, words starting with certain letters

47. Tear up a picture from a magazine or coloring page and have them glue back together as a puzzle

48. Hide and find a toy or spoon in the room, take turns

49. Play red light green light inside or out

50. Choose a book that your child loves and make a day themed around it. Read the book, make a treat to go along, do a craft ect.

51. Make a family tree with your kids and talk about aunts, uncle cousins etc.

52. Cut up a picture of the child and make a cool collage as you glue it back together in an interesting design

53. Catergories: name a category and see how many things you can name like cars, states, colors etc.

54. Put wet towels in a bag and a few popcorn kernels and place in the sun. Watch it grow over the next few weeks.

55. Make a book with things found in nature, tree branch, leaf rub, flower,

56. Red rocks park

58. Tour the denver mint

59. Hammonds candy factory tour

60. Molly brown museum

61. Interview kids for their favorites that year.

62. Thread pasta on a string

63. throw a ball on the roof and let the kids chase to get it as it comes back down

64. wash pennies (put pennies in a solution of water 1tsp salt in to ½ cup white vinegar another bowl add baking soda to water to make a paste) soak penny in vineger and then rinse in bowl of water
