Ramblings

We have been keeping busy with normal life. Just thought I would update what we have been up to. Mike has been working out with his friend Ryan everyday, which in and of itself is pretty hilarious because he's never been much of a gym guy and he and his bud have quite the bromance going on but he seems to enjoy it. So we have a year membership to our rec center and the girls and I have been taking advantage of it by swimming as much as possible.

They have the greatest slides and Sophie is now big enough to do them all by herself. She is non stop when we swim, it is exhausting. Whenever we have to leave she screams like it is the end of the world.

We have also been at the park a lot, taking advantage of the beautiful days we have had here. We are so glad we have such fun friends that have had picnics with us and enjoyed the sunny days.

Kennedy is a crazy little gymnast. We are so proud of her. She literally practices hours a day and loves every minute of it. She was told yesterday that she will be moved up to Level 2 now. She has only been in gymnastics for two months and went from beginners for two weeks to level 1 and is now being moved to level 2. I am so proud. She is also doing great in school. She and another boy in her class are being pulled out twice a week to read and take tests for advanced readers. Whenever we can't find her she is downstairs playing tennis and hitting the ball against the wall.
Love dressing my girls like twinners and I will do it until they won't let me anymore.
I just finished little shirts for the girls birthdays. Ken's is the black one and Sophie's is the pink. Next week the girls and I are going to Disney on Ice for both of their birthdays. Kennedy is having a gymnastics party at her gymnastics gym and Sophie will just have a family party. I can't believe they are growing so fast. Sophie started dance a few weeks ago. She is taking a tap/ballet combo class. It is hysterical. Needless to say Sophie is the comic relief of the class, she is all over the place but she gets an A+ for enthusiasm. There is really nothing cuter than a chubby little girl in a tutu and leotard and little tap shoes. So dang adorable! Kennedy and I watch her class and laugh the whole time.

You are so crafty! I need me a girl so I can get my craft on. But not anytime soon.
