A little of this and that

This weekend was a busy one filled with baby showers, soccer games and pool parties. A co-worker of Mike's had a pool party in his amazing backyard. It was a lot of fun. As you can see he had a huge blow up thing in the pool and the girls thought that was the coolest thing ever as a matter of fact Sophie thought the hole in the middle was so cool (where the beach balls are) that she plunged head first down it several times. She keeps forgetting that she can't swim. She is such a stressful kid to take swimming, she is CRAZY! Ken and her friend Ali had a great time!

Ken had her first soccer game and they got killed, but she had a great time! She kept reminding me before the game that it was okay if they lost. I never said it wasn't but I guess she wanted to make sure I wasn't disappointed. She just giggled through the whole game.
We also hung out with some friends this weekend and helped them shovel rocks in their yard. Ken was raking the dirt and our friend Bryce passed by and said "Kennedy thanks for all your hard work" and she replied "Now Bryce you know you're paying me for this, right?" I busted up laughing and she turned to me "What Mom? He could at least spare a quarter or something."
Kindergarten has been the best thing that has ever happened to our Kennedy. She has become so sweet and helpful around the house and is sooooo much nicer to Sophie. Her fits have almost become non-existent and she is doing really well in her class. We are so proud of her. Sophie is picking up more and more words each day and is about as funny and cute as she can be. We are working on her bullying ways, mostly in nursery. I wish I could just freeze her in time right now, she is so much fun! I have even managed to get little pig tails in her hair which makes her look much less homeless than she has been looking. All in all things are looking up around the Voorhies household.

Kindergarten is a wonderful thing! I love your blog--it makes me feel like I actually know what the hell is going on in your life. ;) We have to get back to regular get togethers!!!
