Sophie

My wonderful brother Blake drew this picture of Sophie, I think it is so great. You should check out more of his stuff here.
While we are on the subject of Sophie I wanted to jot down a few things about her so that I don't forget.
1. Sophie LOVES music and dancing. The minute we get into the car she says "on" repeatedly until the music is turned on (and it has to be REALLY loud). And it can't be just any music. I was trying to be a clever mom and put together a cute little cd of all these adorable nursery rhymes and toddler songs, well she wasn't havin' it. She just kept saying "on" louder and louder until I put on either Justin Bieber or some hip hop. Then she dances like a crazy person or she closes her eyes and moves her head from side to side sort of Stevie Wonder like when the music is really speaking to her. It is so funny, she has the goofiest look on her face and is so serious.
2. If I am ever on the computer she runs over and says "dance" until I turn on music really loud so she can dance to it.
3. If she sees my phone she follows me saying "princess" until I get the princess game going for her.
4. When it's time for bed or naps all you have to say is "night night" and that girl runs to her bed. She loves to sleep, just like her mama. I put her in bed and she says a series of phrases such as "wuv you", "night, night' or "bye, bye". It is AWESOME! She still sleeps at least 12 hours a night and takes a 3 hour nap each day. LOVE THAT!
5. If I ask her if she has a poop or tell her to do something she doesn't want to she just looks at me and wiggles her finger from side to side saying "no, no, no" in the sweetest little voice.
6. If I am laying on my stomach she pulls up my shirt and gives me a zerbert on my tummy. Too much? Well I was laying on my stomach when the speech therapist was here and Sophie pulled down my pants hoping to find my back, let's just say the speech therapist and I have a "special" relationship now.
7. If she wakes up in the middle of the night you just see her hand fly up and of her bed with her cup and she says "milk". The other night I just told her, "sophie just suck on the sippy cup" and she looked at me, shrugged her shoulders and said "alright", and back to sleep she went...so amiable this one.

Our favorite song to dance to is "I Like It" by Enrique. We also have the Beiber fever!!
