My baby is two!

Our little Sophie turns two this weekend and I seriously can't believe it! Time has flown by. We celebrated today since we will be out of town this weekend. I wanted to start with a few pictures of her over the years, mostly so I can reminisce and look back and laugh at my adorable little peanut. You forget how tiny they are when you first bring them home, so darn cute! I love the picture below, she was such a chunk and so expressive.

Soph as the posh puppy for Halloween. I love seeing babies fat faces stuffed into a Halloween costume, the ridiculous and embarrassing things we do to our kids.
Love those baby blues! What a cutie! And of course pictures of Soph would not be complete without one of her with her mouth open and her tongue out...this was her look for the first year of her life.
And NOW, here is our little two year old. This is Ken and Soph in their Easter dresses. Yup, she looks like a boy in a dress, but a damn cute one.

Takin a bath. She loves to play in the tub with Ken, Kennedy isn't quite as fond of it (may have something to do with the fact that she has pooped in the tub with Kennedy) but she allows her to every now and then. Kennedy always comments on the fact that Sophie already has boomers like mom...yikes.
This girl lives for Popsicles. She always goes to the freezer and asks, "popsi please". We are just happy she is finally talking. She is now quite fond of the words "stop", "no" and "mine". Terrible twos here we come!
Soph loves the slide she got for her b-day. She has lived on it since we brought it home.
Mike is hoping that Sophie is our little tomboy...giving her a t-ball set will possibly gear her in that direction??? We have no hope for Kennedy being one...she is all girl!
She loves her new little elmo, he blows kisses and talks to her.
After presents we took the girls on a walk in mommy's new present..my jogging stroller. It is my new true love. I mean Mike's great and all but he's not nearly as smooth as this baby. On our walk we saw a HUGE snake and sophie desperately wanted to get out and play with it...I was freaking out. Mike wanted to take it home, prop it's mouth open with a toothpick and feed it hamburger. I don't know why but I thought that was the funniest thing I had heard in a long time. Oh maybe because I am married to a twelve year old???
Never say never. I swore I would never take kids to Chucky Cheese for a birthday party, I hate that place but it turns out that mid week in the middle of the day it wasn't terrible. Soph loved wondering around and she pounded the pizza.
We invited our friend Erin and her kids Milo, Isabel and Keeler. Watching Isabel and Kennedy play skeeball was a crack up. No gentle rolling for them, they just hucked the ball at the targets.
Kennedy and Isabel.
