Updates

We are keeping busy, as all families with young kids are, and we are really enjoying our new town. We have met some really fun people here. Mike loves his job and now has his private insurance so our little workaholic can farm himself out to dentists and other docs. I have loved our rec center nearby and am enjoying running again. I ran a 5k last weekend for St. Patty's in Fort Collins, it went well considering I hadn't trained at all. I haven't found a preschool that I am thrilled about for Ken so we have been working on things at home. She is a great little reader and loves to do her "homework" out of her little workbooks. She is also currently obsessed with Hannah Montana, Sonny with a Chance and ICarly. She loves to watch herself in the mirror and make up rock songs, it's really cute! She is excited to go to Disney on Ice this weekend with her best bud Audra for her birthday. I can't believe she will be 5 in a week. I asked her what she would like to do this year such as dance, soccer etc. and she said she would like to try gymnastics so we will be starting that up soon.
Sophie is just about as cute as she can be. With those gorgeous blue eyes and bright red hair I just can't get enough of her. She is very cuddly lately and we are all eating it up. Someone actually asked me the other day if that was her natural hair color, as if I would color my little girls hair..hello! We had Sophie evaluated because she wasn't talking much and she qualified for speech therapy. She is starting to pick up more and more words each day and is much more interested in reading books with me now...before I could barely get her to sit still for anything. In the picture below you can see her hernia, we actually thing it is getting better. I think we will hold off until this summer and if it's still not smaller then we will have her get the surgery. Soph has definitely mastered the art of throwing a fit, she is so funny. If she doesn't get her way she crosses her arms and gives the greatest little pouty look, it's a crack up. She can also throw herself around like a rag doll when she is really mad..note in the following pictures.

Your girls are hilarious! I also call my mom and tell her the latest thing that Kennedy has said- love it!
So I've been watching Felicity- slowly (using netflix) I forgot how much I loved that show- it totally makes me think of you! Have you seen that new show on the WB - Life Unexpected?- if not you should- it's totally one of our types of shows :)

I still crack up every time I think about Sophie crossing her arms and doing that pouty face at the river! HILARIOUS.
