We just got back from Utah where both of our families live and it was a lot of fun. We went for Thanksgiving and for Uncle Ben's wedding. My girls always love to stay with my mom, they get a ton of attention and get to see all of their wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. Thanksgiving was great! We first had lunch with my dad's side of the family at a church (because there are too many of us). It was fun to see cousins I haven't seen in a long time and to chat with family. Then we headed off to our next meal with the Voorhies, also at a church. Grandpa Voorhies smoked a turkey and it was soooo good. We played basketball games, laughed and ate until we were all sick and ready for a nap.
Ken and Sophie had fun playing at Grandma's. Here Sophie is trying to get through the fence and into the neighbor's yard. She makes the funniest faces.
Love my Kennedy!
For Uncle Ben's wedding my mom made the most adorable little dresses for the girls. The colors were orange and pink with some black and tan so we got some pale pink material and put black sashes with it.
They had so much fun dancing around and exploring the beautiful place where the reception was held (Le Jardin). Sophie couldn't stop hugging Kennedy. So sweet.
Sophie and Ken loved exploring the place. There were so many fun little areas to play in, it was a little girls playground.
Kennedy, Caci and the other little cousins had fun playing princesses.
It just wouldn't be our girls in a public place without some sort of drama. Sophie began with her mouth open wide and pointed at every plant and light that we passed- she then completely lost it and knocked over or tried to pull on every plant or light that we passed. Needless to say we didn't last long which made us sad. We wanted to see Ben and Kinsey leave but our kids were DONE.

I wish that we could have been there. Good Luck with the job!
I'm sure I left a similar comment last time you talked about going private, but here it is again :)
I LOVE reading you blog and about your family, but if it creeps you out because you don't really know me (I think we met once), totally understand!

Your girls were adorable at the reception. Those dresses are the perfect shade of pink and they did look like princesses. I'm Leah's friend/coworker Kathy by the way.
