Halloween Extravaganza

My pictures are out of order but the first two are of kids from our Halloween Party. I had to post this picture of Little Bo Peep because I told my mom how cute this costume was. What a darling little chick.
Is it just me or did Halloween seem to last FOREVER this year? We had a great Halloween but it seemed to last a week long with our kids because they were over-sugared and so ornery by the end of the week that we had all had it. We decided to have a little Halloween Party this year and it was a lot of fun. We wished that we could have invited more of our friends but our house is fairly small and it was packed as it was so it was probably best that we kept it somewhat small. One of our activities was bobbing for apples, the men got pretty into it. One of our friends actually put about half his body in the water all for the sake of an apple.
Here are some of our darling neighbors and friends from the party. The kids participated in a Halloween Parade to show off their costumes and we gave out awards for the funniest, scariest, most original and first place overall. The kids also decorated pumpkin cookies and cupcakes.

Kennedy went as Alice In Wonderland (my mom made the costume), Sophie was the white rabbit (her costume was Ken's old one and was VERY small but it worked), Mike was a doctor (nothing like a free costume) and I was a witch. Surprisingly after the entire night I realized I hadn't gotten a picture of me, darn.

I think Brooklyn had that very same bunny costume her first Halloween! Your girls look darling, sounds like you had a very festive season!

Summer, I totally blog stalked you from Amberlee's blog. I just wanted to say how dang cute your girls are! And I loved the story about the "book drama" at the library. Too funny and so sassy smart!
