Ballet, parfaits and fun!

Sophie is now 8 months old and as sweet as ever. She is still fairly bald but has enough hair that you can tell she is a full fledged red head. She has beautiful blue eyes and is such a little observer. She loves to watch people and really studies her toys. She still doesn't crawl but does a mean downward facing dog. She has been teething for a month+ now but none of the teeth have poked through. She is a great little sleeper though and so pleasant when she is awake, we just love her!
Kennedy started a ballet class this week with several of her friends from preschool/church. It is a full class of adorable little girls. Her teacher told them that for their recital they will be little frogs. She loves to dance and is thrilled to be in dance again.

On Thursday this week it was 65 degrees. We sat out on the front lawn with a blanket and watched Ken ride her bike and then we all went on a bike ride with Justin, Lacey and little Holden. It is so fun to have trails nearby and to be able to take advantage of them during the winter.

On Saturday evening we had our friends Erin and Spencer over with their darling twins Milo and Isabel. We did "make your own pizzas" and then for dessert the kids made parfaits. When they weren't eating all three kids were upstairs in the playroom having a great time. They came down periodically with different dress up on and Kennedy even informed us "I am really getting use to my friends Mom" Needless to say we have had some rough times with Milo and Isabel in the past so I was thrilled that Kennedy was pleasant and nice to her cute little pals.
Erin and Spencer are hoping to adopt so if you know of anyone here is a link to their blog and from there you can go to their various adoption websites
This picture is for my mom. She made this little jumper for Kennedy and I made a matching one for her little American Girl doll.

We had SO much fun! I've already been perusing my calendar to plan our next "date". :) I'm totally stealing this picture for a post too...

And, your girls are adorable. Love the ballet pic and the Sophie pic. Too cute!
