Hey--great post! Another great website that sells food storage items is www.shelfreliance.com They often have fantastic sales...just watch the website for their weekly promos. The Thrive line of freeze dried food is highly recommended.
Hi Mike and Summer fam - this is kinda random - this is Heather (King) Morris, I went to good ol' KHS with Mike. I blog stalk :) and found yours through Tracy's. First of all, let me say I'm glad I ran across yours. I have felt so strongly lately that we really need to get in control and start and be steady on food storage - I get stressed easily and don't know where to start - thank you for your posts on this subject - most helpful. Also, I heard forever ago that Mike was working on becoming a Nurse Anesthetist - my hubby is working on doing the same thing. He is just starting the Nursing Program at Dixie State College this coming spring so we are a long road behind you guys but I just wanted to ask if you have any tips/advice on this process? Summer, if you're anything like me, you would most likely be the one answering questions about your husband's schooling and work life, but I just wanted to ask where all the schooling was done, for ADN, Bachelors in Nursing and the Anesthesiology school. Almost everything we've read about Anesthesiology schools indicates that the student not be employed while attending school. That sounds so scary, but I know sacrifice for a while will bring about good things. So anyway, I know this is a long comment, (sorry), but I'd just love to hear how you guys got where you are, since we are headed down that road too. (as soon as we get through the darn Nursing Program). You can comment back on my blog or email mofam4@gmail.com. Thanks, and your little family is adorable. Girls are so dramatic, aren't they? It's great though. Talk to ya'll later.
