Worth Mentioning

I have been thinking about some books, movies and recipes that I have wanted to recommend so I thought this was the fastest way to reach my family and friends.

Movies first...I saw Helen Hunt on Letterman promoting this show and so I rented it yesterday and I really liked it. I will warn you that is had some F bombs but the story is very different and frankly if Collin Firth is in it I am usually on board. Good writing, witty and sweet.

Mike and I saw the stage version of Mama Mia years ago with family and friends and we laughed and danced through the whole thing. If it wasn't totally embarrassing I would have done the same through the movie. SO CUTE! Some of the actors voices left a bit to be desired but the songs were so fun (who doesn't love ABBA) and the dancing and humor were perfect.

I am about 3/4ths of the way through the book but haven't had time to sit down and finish this. So far I love it. Mike finished it before his clinicals started (I love that my husband is 10% gay and will read girl books and watch chick flicks with me). I heard that on Stephenie Meyeres site you can read some of the new book from Edwards point of view...when will I ever find the time to indulge?

Speaking of books Ken and I found three that we really like at our new library.

And then there is our swing that we LOVE! Mostly because it plugs in and we use to spend a fortune on batteries (our kids sleep in their swings A LOT). It is the fisher price rain forest swing.

I love Mama Mia too! I saw it in Vegas with my sisters and then took Kylie. It was hard not to sing along. We even have the soundtrack. Are you still obsessed with Helen Hunt?

I was telling Andy that you wrote that Mike read the Vampire books and that he was 10% gay. So he told me to leave a comment for Mike that it was not 10% gay but more like 40% gay. Anyway we thought it was pretty funny. Andy won't read them he just wants me to tell him all about it.
