Just a little catch up blog. No clever title or fun writing because I seriously feel like I don't have time for any of it. As much as I try to simplify December and the holidays they always stay pretty busy and crazy. Here is our little bundle Finn in his darling little hat.
Finn is now 10 months old. He is really close to walking, he can stand up on his own for a few seconds and is pushing his little toy all over the house. He is currently getting all four of his front top teeth right now so he is a little sad but not too bad considering.
Our sweet friend Natalie was in a production of A Christmas Carol so we went to see her. It was really well done and the girls really loved it. Sophie and I watched the Mickey Mouse version a few days before so she would know the story so throughout the play she would turn to me and ask "is that Mickey's character, is that goofy in the chains?" It was fun!
We took a little carriage ride with our friends and were able to see Santa.
The Elf on the Shelf has been fairly lazy this year, often forgetting to move at all but one night he did say hi to all the kids in bananagrams. This is one of those traditions that I may every now and then wish I never started.
This picture above is awful but it was the only one I got of Sophie and Santa. She hopped in with our little friend Benson. She was too scared to tell Santa anything that she wanted so she grabbed her candy cane and got out.
Kennedy visited with Santa and Finn just stared at him over and over.
One night for family home evening we got Cold Stone and went around town looking at lights. We stopped by the "Greeley Grizzwolds" and were amazed at what they had done. A house right by our church has lights set to music. You just tune in to a local radio station and the lights turn on and off to the music. It was crazy! We are having our annual doughnut party tomorrow night.
