We were feeling quite festive this week and since Mike went to Grand Junction to mountain bike we had to keep ourselves busy so mom wouldn't poke her eye out. 
We decided to paint pumpkins instead of carving them, they turned out pretty cute and we had a lot of fun.
We painted our nails orange and the kids wore their halloween jammies.
Here is Ken painting her little pumpkin and giving it the "finishing touches"- her words. Sophie was more interested in eating the paintbrush but she did try to paint a bit and was really excited to finally be included in our crafts.
She was so darn proud and excited to be a big girl.

Cute! We painted pumpkins last year too...it was a hit. Especially considering that the day we carved different pumpkins was the day that Milo fell off the counter and bought himself an ambulance ride! LOL
