Thought I would share some favorites, and things I have come across this week.
Mike and I saw this movie over the weekend and although Kate Hudson bothers me, the movie was pretty funny and I think Ann Hathaway is darling.

These are nice board books for kids and they have various versions (Book of Mormon, New Testament, Old Testament etc). I read some to Kennedy from the Church History book tonight and frankly there were a few stories I hadn't ever heard. Not that I have ever claimed to be a church history (or doctrine, or scripture) expert but I think these are great for the younger kids that still aren't quite ready for the Book of Mormon kid version that comes with the tapes that have been around for YEARS. Great resources but still a little advance for our little three year old.

Thanks for the tip on these book Mel, they are so cute!
We really like this series of books (volumes 1-4) on Book of Mormon stories with cute pictures, written in kid language and has a "how can you be like (insert book of mormon character here) today?" section. After each story it also has songs, activities and other ideas to extend the story into a FHE lesson.

I have mentioned this site before but if you click on here and sign up for their emails they will help you with your food storage step by step. Getting our food storage together is one of my goals for the year (was doing great but lost steam) so I think this will be a great reminder.

Cheap and easy dinners, generally healthy and other good advice.
We are doing great. I am still training for the Moab Half Marathon, running 5 miles this weekend...slowly working my mileage up. I am finally getting into the fun part of running where it doesn't hurt anymore and you actually look forward to it. I have enjoyed having a sewing machine (Christmas present) and have been working on a baby blanket and a few other projects. I am also working on a few children's book ideas which I hope to eventually hire my little brother to illustrate for me (when I have the cash to pay him for his amazing work). You should check out his stuff @ http://www.blakeloosli.com/
Other than that Mike is doing great in his clinicals and keeping busy with basketball and mountain biking. He is planning on doing an Xterra in August, which is a triathlon but the biking is mountain biking and the running is trail running. When he will have the time to train for it we are still not sure.
